A Long Road Ahead...
I've finally started on the blog-bandwagon. I'm going through a lot right now--working through a lot of personal issues--and I thought this would help me sort out some of my thoughts.
I've recently developed a small obsession with snails, most likely because my sister decided (out of the blue) to purchase a fish tank, a few fish, and an Apple Snail. This presents a small problem because we have no where for the setup, so for now, her new pests [edit: pets] reside in individual fish bowls. I usually end up feeding these things, and the apple snail, who we've named Zippo, is by far the most interesting.
I've seen him plow around his bowl, siphon fish flakes from the surface, and even eat a few leaves! It's strangely calming to see this little creature take his time to go about his daily grind. Why is it so hard for me to do something that a mollusk can do?
